1. PREWAR COLT SAA .44 RUSSIAN & S. & W. SPECIAL, 7 1/2" BLUE-CH. This stunning prewar was mfd in 1916 and retains over 90% of orig finish and 60% of orig case on frame & hammer. Screws have been tightened, but appear orig and are not buggered. All numbers match (on grips, too). There are very few minor distractions for a 92 year old gun. Factory letter included. #334,XXX. |

| 2. Colt SAA's (2nd gen) .45 LC, 7 1/2" Blue-CH. A very important consecutive pair in extraordinary condition. These were ordered in Sept of 1955 and subsequently shipped in April of 1956 (possibly the first pair of consec. long bbl's) Condition is superb and both are accompanied by properly numbered and labeled black boxes containing heavy nox-rust paper & "Instructions for your single action army revolver" (8 1/2" X 11") enclosures. Also included are four letters of: Intent to purchase, estimate of delivery date, distributor correspondance and finally-an orig Cathy Hoyt factory letter.
